The Moxó Collection curated by Il·lacions Design Gallery in 2020 was created exclusively to furnish the Mercer Residences Palau Moxó new residences. It is a unique furniture collection conceived by some of the local designers of the moment in dialogue with the past.
This new interior design reinterprets the splendour of the Palau from a 21st century perspective, in collaboration with local designers and artisans, respecting Barcelona'spirit and idiosyncrasy: Design is used as a guiding thread from the past to the present, from Barcelona to the world.
Il·lacions develops a project with a vocation for proximity and avant-garde through the works of twenty creators from Barcelona
The Palau five new residences are dressed up with walnut dining chairs by Eugeni Quillet, dining tables by Alfons Flores, Piano desks designed by Jordi Ribaudí, mirrors by Marc Monzó, ceiling lamps by Jordi Canudas -such as the modern aluminium chandeliers-, floor lamps by Sanna Völker and Jordi Veciana, Prelude armchairs by Sebastián Alberdí and Poltroncina by Júlia Esqué, coffee tables and side tables by Alejandra Perini, Turbina, OiKo, Michel Roschach, Alejandra Perini and Roger Coll, Unique carpet collections by Joan Tarragó Studio and Vértigo by Inés Sistiaga, textile headboards by Josep Abril, modular sofas by APO and Toni Pallejà and armchairs by Max Enrich and Andreu Carulla, among other works.
